Rudolph Howard Krause (c1857-1926) of Stewarts and Lloyds

c1857 Born the son of Ernest William Rudolph Krause, Missionary.

1883 August 15th. Married at Tottenham to Jane Morrin Surr

1911 Living at Comberton Hill, Kidderminster: Rudolph Howard Krause (age 53 born New South Wales - British by parentage), Managing Director of a Public Co - Steel and Tube Manufacturer. With his two nieces Margaret Surr (age 13 born California - British by parentage) and Muriel Gordon Surr (age 11 born California - British by parentage). Three servants.[1] His wife is living in London in the house of her uncle and with her daughter.

1926 June 26th. Died. Of Blendon, Bellevue Road, Ayr. Probate to his widow Jane Morrin Surr or Krause.

Soon after the outbreak of war he took control of the firm's works at Glasgow and rendered great service in increasing the production of shells. His familiar figure will be much missed in Midland industrial circles.
