After its crash on 27th March 1913 the B.S.1 plane later became the S.E.2. It was a single seater scout designed by Geoffrey de Havilland with help from Henry Folland and S. J. Waters.

Powered by 80 hp and 100 hp Gnome engine

The Bleriot Scout was completed early in 1913 and test flown on 13th March 1913.
