1986 Imperial Foods merged the catering arm of its frozen foods subsidiaries Ross Foods and Young's Seafood to form Ross Young's Foodservice[1]

1988 Acquired by United Biscuits, a leader in frozen foods

1999 Merger of United Biscuits' Young's seafood business with Legal & General Ventures' Bluecrest to create the largest seafood business in the UK. UB and LGV (and its associates) each hold 44% of equity of the business. Management and other finance providers held the balance.
