The 1848 O.S. map shows Rodney Street Mill located on the north side of the Rochdale Canal, bounded by Rodney Street to the west, Faulkner's Buildings to the north, and Elizabeth Street Mill to the east.

Bancks's 1831 shows that the mills had developed from Faulkner & Co's cotton mill.
