1916 Obituary [1]

RODEN DIXON, horn on the 7th May, 1857, died at Stratford-on-Avon on the 8th November, 1915.

His early practical experience was grained on various railway, mining and sanitary engineering works in the Midlands.

In 1887 he was appointed Surveyor to the Harborne Local Board, joining the City Surveyor’s staff when his district was annexed to Birmingham.

From 1896 until his death he filled the office of Borough Surveyor of Stratford-on-Avon.

He was elected an Associate Member on the 1st December, 1896.
