1966 John Roby Ltd and Thomas Utley (Rainhill) Ltd merged to form a new company. The directors were T. Roby, J. B. Roby, Thomas Utley and C. J. M. Roby. There were no staff changes and all existing orders, contracts and agreements carried on without change. The new company continued to manufacture ships’ sidelights, windows, and bells.

1967 Orders for port lights were completed for the QEII.

1973 All outstanding orders having been completed, the company ceased trading.
