ROBERT WILLIAM KENNARD, D.L., J.P., died at his residence in July 1929, in his seventy-second year.

He was the son of the late Mr. Howard John Kennard, one of the original partners of the firm, and he was the first chairman of the Falkirk Iron Co., Ltd., a position he recently relinquished owing to failing health.

He was a High Sheriff of the County of Monmouth.

He joined the Iron and Steel Institute in 1904.
