1900 Patent with Donald Barns Morison of Durham on improvements in steam distribution valves of multiple expansion engines.

1907 of Armstrong College, Professor of Engineering, patent with Donald Barns Morison of Hartlepool Engine Works on improvements in apparatus for heating water by means of steam.

1937 February 18th. Died
