Robert Chapman Sharp (1789-1863) of Sharp, Roberts and Co and Pauling and Sharp

1789 Born in Manchester; baptised son of Thomas and Francis Sharp[1]; brother of Thomas

1806 The two brothers had a workshop in Manchester for the manufacture of tools and general machines.

1823 A third brother, John, joined the firm

1825 Married Henrietta Elizabeth Campbell in Dublin[2]

1861 Living at Norbury, Cheshire (age 71 born Manchester), a Silk Thr..... employing 90 persons. With his wife Henrietta Elizabeth (age 55 born Dullen, Ireland) and their son Richard Barrington Sharp (age 17 born Stockport). Plus a visitor and three servants. [3]
