1930 The Ritchie-Atlas Engineering Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £10,000, to acquire the business carried on by the Ritchie-Atlas Engineering Company at the Atlas Engineering Works, Spencer Street, Anniesland, Glasgow, and to carry on the business of engineering.[1]
