1829 Advert: 'To Bleachers, Paper-makers, Copperas-makers, Printers, Dyers, and Others. RIDGWAY AND PANTER
Beg leave to acquaint those who are in want of STILLS, COPPERAS PANS, or other LEAD VESSELS, that they are enabled to cast almost all kinds of Lead Vessels at once, to the shape required, instead of the usual way of turning and burning; that in consequence of this valuable discovery very superior work can be made, at less expense, by RIDGWAY and PANTER, Plumbers and Lead-Founders, London Road; Manchester.'[1]
1830 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, carrying on trade and business as Plumbers and Glaziers, at Manchester, in the County of Lancaster, under the firm of Ridgway and Panter, was dissolved on the 6th day of March Inst by mutual consent; As witness our hands this 22d day of September 1830.
