1838 Robert Davidson, engineer-mechanician, living at rue de Thionville, La Villette, was in partnership with Claude Brise, papermaker, of La Villette.[2]

1841 French patent 207 to Alexandre (Alexander?) Richardson, Robert Davidson and Edward Glaude, of 4 rue de Thionville, La Villette, relating to preparation of wood for paper making.[3]
