1878 Patent. '3574. And Richard Wheen the younger, of the firm of Richard Wheen and Sons, of Deptford Creek, in the county of Kent, has given the like notice in respect of the invention of "improvements in machinery for pulping or disintegrating fat and other substances."'[1]
1898 The company was registered on 15 July, to take over the business of soap makers of the firm of the same name. [2]
