1805 Partnership change. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between Richard Fort, Thomas Hargreaves, Adam Dugdale, and John Wright, as Calico-Printers, and which was carried on at Oakenshaw and Oak, in the County of Lancaster, under the Firm of Fort, Hargreaves, Dugdale, and Company, and in Manchester and London, under the firm of Richard Fort and Company, expired, as to the said John Wright, ...'[1]

1815 Partnership change. '...the Partnership subsisting and heretofore carried on by us the undersigned, Richard Fort, James Fort, John Fort, and John Parker, as Calico-Printers, at Oakenshaw and Manchester, both in the County of Lancaster, under the firm of Richard Fort and Sons, and in London, under the firm of Richard Fort and Co. is this day dissolved by mutual consent; and the business will in future be carried on by the said Richard Fort, James Fort, and John Fort...'[2]
