1891 The company was registered on 5 June, to acquire the businesses of cotton spinners of Thomas Reyner and Sons and J. B. Reyner and Brothers. [1]
1912 Company reformed as Reyners (1912)
1914 Mention of Eloesser steel drive belts replacing ropes at Messrs Reyners, Limited, transmitting 900 horse-power from a first to a second-motion shaft. The indicated power on the rope-drives for the two weeks previous to the conversion was 1015 to 1024, or a variation of 9 horse-power, while after steel belts were installed it was 898 horse-power, a clear gain of 126 HP.[2]
1930 Acquired by the Lancashire Cotton Corporation.[3]
