REGINALD MARSHALL was a grandson of William Marshall, the pioneer of railway bookstalls, and was born in 1873.
He served his apprenticeship with the Pulsometer Engineering Company and with Mr. Joseph Stannah of Southwark.
In 1898, after experience with the Brush Electrical Engineering Company and other firms, he entered the service of the Anglo-Caucasian Petroleum Company, with whom he remained through its various amalgamations throughout the remainder of his career. He was at first a draughtsman in the construction department, and at the time of his death, having been assistant and manager of the department, was regarded as one of the company's senior engineers.
Mr. Marshall died on 9th October 1927.
He became an Associate Member of the Institution in 1904.
