From Graces Guide

Name given to a brand of synthetic protein developed by ICI and marketed by Marlow Foods - a joint venture between RHM and Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI).

1985 The initial retail product was released by Marlow Foods (which was named after RHM's headquarters in Marlow, Buckinghamshire).

1993 The Zeneca Division of ICI decided to increase production of Quorn; the company decided to instal a second fermenter at Cleveland[1]
