1879 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Edmund Powell and John Maddison Summers, in the business of Bicycle Makers and General Engineers, at Newland, Northampton, under the style of Powell and Summers, was this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the said John Maddison Summers, who will henceforth carry on the business on his own account...'[1]
