Pont Fetinne

Three-hinge steel arch bridge.
The Pont de Fragnée crosses the River Ourthe close to the point where it joins the River Meuse. The N633 road after crossing the Meuse on the Pont de Fragnée continues a short distance north east over a narrow piece of land before crossing the Ourthe on the The Pont Fétinne. These bridges were built for the approach road to the 1905 World's Fair. The Fragnée Bridge was destroyed by the Belgian Army in 1940, and was rebuilt post-war to conform with the design of the original, but the Pont Fétinne remained intact.
