1921 Private company formed as Pneulec Machine Co. Ltd.
1923 The "Pneulec" Machine Co completed its new works in Mafeking-road, Smethwick.[1]
1926 January - Purchased the constructional plant of Thwaites Brothers of Bradford, and the plant was transferred to its Smethwick Works, where considerable extensions were carried out.[2]
1926 Name changed.
1931 Description of magnetically-operated squeeze moulding machine for foundries, perfected by British Insulated Cables, Limited, Prescot, and distributed by Pneulec Ltd.[3]
1936 Birmid Industries founded; incorporated Pneulec[4].
1961 Foundry equipment manufacturers. [5]
