1896 Incorporated as Plummer, Roddis and Tyrrell Ltd to acquire the business of Plummer, Roddis and Beecroft of Hastings and Folkestone, R. Tyrrell and Sons of Bournemouth and Boscombe, and Plummer and Lawford of Eastbourne.[1]

1903 Name changed to Plummer Roddis Ltd

1910 The M.D. is Lewis Hay.[2]

1926 Share issue. Directors - A. Newham; J. J. Boutwood; E. C. Strange; Lewis Hay; E. F. Hibbs; E. W. Strange; S. J. Passmore; R. P. Gaze. Also own Kennards.[3]
