1910 Obituary [1]

PIETRO REDAELLI died on April 10, 1910, as the result of a motor-car accident.

He was born in Laorca Sopra, Lecco, Italy, in the year 1877, and was therefore thirty-three years of age.

He studied engineering at the Polytechnic Institute at Milan, obtaining his diploma in 1898, subsequently proceeding to Germany, and ultimately entering his parents' firm of Giuseppe and Fratello Redaelli, of which he became joint-owner and managing director. He played an important part in the wire industry of Italy, and also in the metallurgy of iron.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1899.
