Phillips-Imperial Petroleum

1966. Petroleum Refinery.

Formed in 1964 by Phillips Petroleum Co and ICI[1], joint owners.

1965 The Mechanical Design and Installation division of Tarmac was engaged in the design of a new refinery for Phillips Imperial Petroleum on the River Tees[2]

c.1966 the Phillips-Imperial Petroleum Refinery opened on its North Tees site, near Billingham.

2000 Acquired by Petroplus International BV Group.
