1809 Partnership change. '...the Copartnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned William Phillips, Thomas George, and John Thomas, in the Business of making and manufacturing of bar Iron, and in all other Concerns, carried on under the Firm of Phillips, George, and Thomas, in Pontymister, in the County of Monmouth, was dissolved, and determined on and from the 25th Day of March instant; and that all Debts, Claims, and Demands due and owing from the said Firm will be paid and dischiged by the said Thomas George and John Thomas, by whom the Concerns of the said Copartnership will be earned on and conducted under the Firm of George and Thomas....'[1]
