Peter Herbert Rayner (1913-1940)

Peter Herbert Rayner was born in 1913 and received his engineering training with Vickers-Armstrong, Ltd., and was subsequently employed in the Metallurgical Department.

In 1939 he joined the R.A.F. and attained the rank of Flying Officer.

He was killed on active service in May, 1940.

He was elected a Graduate in 1936.
