1916 Obituary [1]

PETER DAVIES died at Wallasey, Cheshire, on the 6th March, 1916, in his 57th year.

In early life he studied for the law, and ultimately became managing clerk to a firm of Solicitors in Liverpool. He subsequently turned his attentions to Accountancy, and 28 years ago commenced business in Liverpool as an Auctioneer and Estate Agent, which he carried on until his death, a few years prior to which he occupied the Chair of the Liverpool and North Wales Branch of the Auctioneers' and Estate Agents' Institute.

Mr. Davies was elected an Associate of the Liverpool Engineering Society on the 14th January, 1903.
