1882 Born in Bombay the son of Frank Ben Stewart and his wife Ellen Nellie Nolan
1939 Consulting Engr. to The Automobile Assocn. and the Leading Insurance Offices in Ireland. Age: 54. Career: Practical and theoretical experience gained at Argylls, Daimler and Fiat Factories. Mgr. Director the Bombay Motor Car Co., Ltd., India; Representing Engr. to H.M. The late Amir of Afghanistan; Engr. in charge of The Queen Mary Tech. Inst. for wounded Soldiers,. during the War. Introduced and obtained the largest order for Commercial Vehicles from Afghanistan and other Indian Potentates.

Patrick Archibald Nolan Stewart was born in 1882 and educated in India. He received his technical training in India and England, and returned to Bombay to become Works Manager of the Bombay Motor Co., Ltd. He was later appointed General Manager and remained with the firm for sixteen years.
On his return he commenced in business as a Consulting Engineer and Assessor in Ireland.
He died on 18th May, 1945, at the age of 63.
He was elected an Associate Member in 1910 and transferred to Member in 1913.
