1989 Partco Ltd acquired GKN Autoparts, except for some businesses that Partco did not want
1994 Flotation of the Partco Autoparts company[3]
1995 Made its second acquisition since flotation: Downey Autoparts[4].
1996 Acquired Serck Marston, distributor of radiators
1997 Acquired Brown Brothers, maker of car components, which meant that Partco had trebled in size since flotation in 1994[5]
