PARKER ROSCOE ALLEN died at Bellary, India, on the 20th December, 1912. Trained at Coopers Hill College, he joined the Indian Public Works Department in 1882, and was first employed in connection with the Periyar Irrigation project. He later acted as Chief Engineer for Irrigation to the Nizam’s Government, and reverting to the Madras service in 1903, became Superintending Engineer in 1907.

Mr. Allen was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 3rd December, 1889, and was transferred to the class of Members on the 11th December, 1901.
