The ZEALOUS, registered at Harwich, was built and engined by J. and W. Dudgeon of Cubitt Town, London. Originally built for passengers only, she was afterwards altered to carry cargo as well. Her speed was 12 knots. She was withdrawn from service in 1887 and broken up.
