‘Cross-Channel and Coastal Paddle Steamers’ by George Frank Burtt
In 1887, the ROTTERDAM was converted to a twin screw passenger and cargo vessel by Earle's Shipbuilding and Engineering Co. of Hull, who fitted new boilers and compound engines. She was at the same time, rechristened PETEREORO and her port of registry changed from London to Harwich. She was broken up in 1908-9.
