PS London

From Graces Guide

1817 The LONDON, built by Searle, of Westminster and engined by the Butterley Co, was a vessel of 70 tons burthen and 14 n.h.p. She was 85 feet in length by 14 feet beam. The engine had only one cylinder and was of the “ grasshopper ” type. The boiler was also of a curious design, being very narrow and was on either side of the engine. As late as 1830 the LONDON was running from Richmond to Gravesend, Southend and Sheerness.
