PS Lighting
1842 An account of the river traffic in 1842 gives particulars of seven above-bridge steamboats; the length of these varied between 80 and 100 feet, n.h.p. 22-27. Speed ranged from 8.5—10 knots. They were named THUNDER, LIGHTING, ECLIPSE, THISTLE, MINERVA, ERA and VIVID.
