1970 'The second phase of development by the firm of P. D. Springall, Ltd. in Berwick - a 15,000 square foot factory - is hoped to be completed in the next nine or ten months. At the moment, the firm employ about 30 people in their present 15,000 square foot factory on the Tweedside Trading estate....P. D. Springall also operate another plant at Hitchin.'[1]

1982 'The recession is poised to claim another victim in Berwick with the imminent closure of P. D. Springall Ltd., the steering wheel manufacturers, who operate from the Tweedside trading estate.'[2]

1985 ' Allan Brothers of Tweedmouth are to take over the vacant Springall’s factory on the Tweedside trading estate and create employment for 25 men in the near future.' Hardwood double-glazed Windows. [3]
