1902 R. Waygood and Co proposed to acquire the business but the deal was not completed.

1914 R. Waygood and Co acquired the London-based branch of the Otis Elevator Company of the USA; the merged company became Waygood-Otis Ltd; as part of the deal, the Otis Company would purchase shares in the Waygood company[2]
By 1952 Otis Elevator Co of USA had a controlling interest in Waygood-Otis
1957 Name changed.
1961 Manufacturers of lifts, cranes, escalators and accessories. [3]
1996 Otis acquired Express Lifts of Northampton, and merged it with another UK subsidiary, Evans Lifts; the Northampton factory was closed; a new joint company was established called Express Evans Lifts, based in Leicester[4]
