1934 Business founded by Norman Turner. The Norman Turner Engineering Company Limited, of 234 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow, was registered as a private limited company, with capital of £1,000, to carry on the business of air conditioning, heating, and ventilation engineers, formerly carried on under the style of Turner Engineering Company.[1]
Branches opened in London, Birmingham and Newcastle-upon-Tyne; works in Bermondsey.
1937 Incorporated into a new public company Steel and Co[2]
