1922 Assoc.M.Inst. C.E., Civil Engineer, 66, Hunterhouse Road, Sheffield; b. 1892. Ed. Dean Close Memorial School, Cheltenham; Matriculated, Birmingham University; technical engineering education at Sheffield University. Pupil at Vickers, Ltd., River Don Works, Sheffield; shop and drawing office experience, 5i years. Now Assistant Manager, Tube Bar and Sheet Mills of Vickers, Ltd., Sheffield. War Services.—Obtained commission in 12th Yorks and Lancs Regiment, September i8, 1914; appointed Adjutant, March, 1915; held appointment till November, 1917, when appointed Staff Captain, 7 cth Infantry Brigade; demobilized, March, 1919. Twice mentioned in dispatches for services in the field in France and Egypt.
