1840 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership hitherto subsisting and curried on between us the undersigned, Thomas Nicholson and John Walton, as Whitesmiths and Machine-Makers, at Leeds, in the county of York, under the firm of Nicholson and Walton, was this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to and owing from the said firm will be received and paid by the said Thomas Nicholson, who will carry on the business as heretofore, at Leeds aforesaid, on his own account:...'[1]
