1994 Clyde Blowers acquired the vacuum divisions of Sturtevant Welbeck, renamed as Clyde Sturtevant. The Sturtevant Brighton plant was closed with their assets eventually transferred to Clyde Material Handling Ltd. which organized a new Sturtevant vacuum division at South Yorkshire.
