1891 The New Howe Machine Company Limited was registered, with capital of £60,000, to adopt a minute of sale by liquidators of the Howe Machine Company, Glasgow and Brussels, to Henry Birkmyre, Port Glasgow, and James Paterson, Glasgow, of the factory in Bridgeton, Glasgow, occupied by the Howe Machine Company, with the machinery and all material (except the stock of completed bicycles and sewing machines), together with the various trade-marks and goodwill of the business.[1]

1902 The company was dissolved.[2]
