'Steamers of the Thames and Medway' by Frank Burtt
This handsome craft was built at Alblasserdam, Holland, in 1933, and was in commission the same year running trips from Westminster, principally to the Ford Motor Works at Dagenham, until 1937 when she was sold to Turkish owners. Driven by two Diesel engines of 200 b.h.p. each, she was 134 ft- long and had a breadth of 22.1 ft., depth 9 ft 6 in., and a gross tonnage of 255. Her owners were the Odelia Cruising Motor Ship Co, Ltd., a subsidiary of R. G. Odell, Ltd., the well-known firm of lightermen and tug owners.
