1931 Obituary.[1]

Nevil Marryat, Member, was educated at Haileybury College and Folkestone Technical College, and, after going through the shops of Messrs. Palmer’s Shipbuilding Works and Messrs. R. W. Hawthorn, Leslie and Co. Ltd, became an Inspector with Messrs. Rendel, Palmer and Tritton.

In December, 1901, he went to India as Assistant Locomotive Superintendent on the Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway, and was promoted to the position of Deputy Locomotive Superintendent of that Railway in 1920, which post he held until his retirement on the 3rd of Aged 52, he died on the 9th November, 1930
