Netham Chemical Co, of Netham, Bristol (also St Annes, Bristol, and Brislington and Abbots Leigh, Somerset)

c.1860 Netham Works established. Its products were mainly sulphuric adic (vitriol) and washing soda.

1885 Member of the Bleaching Power Manufacturers Association

1890 Acquired by United Alkali Co.

In 1927 the Netham Chemical Works was owned by ICI.

1949 The Netham works closed, and the 300 ft chimney was demolished in 1950.
