1967 Courtaulds and Guinness and Co collaborated on production of plastic bricks for Inca Construction, sharing production between their respective subsidiaries National Plastic and Industrial Mouldings of Warwick. Courtaulds transferred its plastics moulding interests in Courtaulds Engineering to National Plastic. Courtaulds merged National Plastics and its packaging subsidiary Betts and Co.
