'Myer Screw Propeller Syndicate, Limited (39,885).- This company was registered on the 19th instant, with a capital of £25,000, in £5 shares, to carry into effect a certain agreement made on the 16th instant between Charles Myers and others; to apply for patents, etc, exclusively to be of advantage to the company; and to carry on the business of mechanical engineers, iron-founders, &c. R. Oliver, 24 Gomm-street, Longsight, typist, 1. The following gentlemen have been appointed the first directors of the company:- Charles Myers, J. Gray-Farrar-Morgan and John Louden; remuneration £1000.’[2]
