1901 Partnership and name change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Mitchell, Francis Edwards, and George Edward Mitchell, carrying on business as Cotton Manufacturers, at Oak Mill, Bridge-street, Rochdale, under the style or firm of Mitchell and Edwards, has been dissolved by mutual consent as and from the twenty-fifth day of February, 1901. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said John Mitchell and George Edward Mitchell, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style or firm of "Mitchell and Son"...[3]
