By 1963 George H. Miles was a director of Miles Electronics[2]
1969 The Link Division of Singer-General Precision Inc of USA acquired a majority share in Miles Electronics. Link was the largest producer of flight simulators in the Western World[3]
At some point (late 70's?) Singer bought Link-Miles from F. G. Miles and continued as Singer Link Miles, based at Lancing.
1990 After the Singer parent company experienced difficulties, the UK part of the business was bought by Thomson-CSF.
1994 Thomson bought Rediffusion Simulators and moved the Link business to Crawley.
The company is now called Thales Training.
