1888 The company was registered as limited April 10, 1888
1898 Incorporated by act of parliament.
1936 Authority sought to construct works for affording an additional supply of water to the Mid Kent Water Company, the Chatham and District Water Company and the Higham and Hundred of Hoo Water Company.[1]
1963 The Medway Water Board and the Mid Kent Water Company were successors in title to the undertaking of the Maidstone Waterworks Company.[2]
