Caledonia Cabinet Factory, Beith, Ayrshire

1919 Matthew Pollock Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £40,000, to take over the business of cabinet manufacturers, upholsterers, etc., carried on by Matthew Pollock in Beith.[1]

1934 In May a liquidator was appointed by the court.[2] The liquidator managed the company until a new private company of the same name, with capital of £32,000, was incorporated to acquire the undertaking and to carry on the trades of cabinetmakers, upholsterers, and manufacturers of furniture of every description.[3]

1946 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[4]
