(age 27 born Worcester), Surgeon Undergraduate London; Thomas (age 25 born Bridport), Machine Chain Maker; Cath O. (age 23 born Bridport), Matthew Henry Larmuth]] (age 19 born Salford), Machine Chain Maker; Alfred A. (age 15 born Salford); and Luke Hamilton (age 7 born Salford). [1]

1908 'MR. M. H. LARMUTH. We regret to announce the death, early on Saturday morning, of Mr. Matthew Henry Larmuth, of Beechenhurst, Stanley-road, Pendleton, at the age of seventy-six. Mr. Larmuth was a member the well-known firm of Messrs. Larmuth and Co., engineers. He was a strong supporter the Unionist cause, and a Churchman. Apart from these interests he was president of the Manchester City Lodge of the Theosophical Society, and was an earnest student of occult matters, being a member of the Manchester Psychical Research Society.'[4]

. . . at the age of 76, was the senior surviving partner in the firm of Thomas Larmuth and Co . . . The firm was established as long ago as 1837, and has occupied its present works since 1865. . . .
